Cautionery Statement / Disclaimer – Rodent Control

All work undertaken by HEP Pest Control Services is done according to the standard terms and conditions of our contract.

Your acceptance of our contract deems you to have agreed to, read, and understood all of our terms and conditions. Standard terms and conditions are available on this website.

HEP will not apply any poison for rodent control without your written acceptance. There will not be any poison loose in any spot where children or pets could obtain access.

Tamper resistant boxes will be used where children / pet access is possible. Loose bait might be used in inaccessible spots like ceilings or behind ovens, etc., but these will be communicated to you.

Technicians of HEP may not be instructed by clients as to where poisons may be placed contrary to manufacturer’s instructions. 

Your acceptance deems that you acknowledge one or all of the following:

  • Hazardous / Poisonous pesticides / chemicals or equipment which may be harmful to people, pets and non-target animals may be used.
  • The materials are not under HEP control once they have been placed.
  • HEP will apply pesticides, materials, equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and the client holds harmless and indemnifies HEP and its employees against claims of injury, death or damage as a result of the placement thereof.
  • Client agrees to keep children and animals under strict supervision both while pest control is being administered and thereafter. Poisons and / or bait boxes can become dislodged in any number of ways that are beyond HEP’s control.
  • Client agrees to inform visitors, workers and family of the work done and the dangers of the control measures.
  • Any / all loose poisons in open positions will be collected safely and kept sealed and away from children and animals and HEP informed immediately.
  • Any dead pests (eg rodents) are to be collected safely (gloves and spades etc. to be used) and placed in sealed bags and kept safely from children and animals and disposed of.
